2014-05-19 09:17:58 +00:00
### Installation
2014-09-10 19:54:59 +00:00
Requirements: `tmux` version 1.9 (or higher), `git`, `bash`.
2014-05-19 09:22:16 +00:00
2014-05-19 09:17:58 +00:00
Clone TPM:
$ git clone https://github.com/tmux-plugins/tpm ~/.tmux/plugins/tpm
2014-05-19 09:17:58 +00:00
2015-07-06 23:46:53 +00:00
Put this at the bottom of `.tmux.conf`:
2014-05-19 09:17:58 +00:00
# List of plugins
2015-07-06 23:46:53 +00:00
set -g @plugin 'tmux-plugins/tpm'
set -g @plugin 'tmux-plugins/tmux-sensible'
2014-05-19 09:27:10 +00:00
# Other examples:
2015-07-06 23:46:53 +00:00
# set -g @plugin 'github_username/plugin_name'
# set -g @plugin 'git@github.com/user/plugin'
# set -g @plugin 'git@bitbucket.com/user/plugin'
2014-05-19 09:17:58 +00:00
2015-07-06 23:46:53 +00:00
# Initialize TMUX plugin manager (keep this line at the very bottom of tmux.conf)
run '~/.tmux/plugins/tpm/tpm'
2014-05-19 09:17:58 +00:00
Reload TMUX environment so TPM is sourced:
# type this in terminal
2015-07-06 23:46:53 +00:00
$ tmux source ~/.tmux.conf
2014-05-19 09:17:58 +00:00
That's it!
2015-07-06 23:46:53 +00:00
(**Note:** using `set -g @tpm_plugins` is deprecated, but still works alongside
new syntax.)
2015-07-06 23:46:53 +00:00
2014-05-19 09:17:58 +00:00
### Installing plugins
1. Add new plugin to `~/.tmux.conf` with `set -g @plugin '...'`
2. Press `prefix + I` (capital I, as in **I**nstall) to fetch the plugin.
2014-05-19 09:17:58 +00:00
You're good to go! The plugin was cloned to `~/.tmux/plugins/` dir and sourced.
### Uninstalling plugins
1. Remove (or comment out) plugin from the list.
2. Press `prefix + alt + u` (lowercase u as in **u**ninstall) to remove the plugin.
2015-06-02 19:36:35 +00:00
2015-07-06 23:46:53 +00:00
All the plugins are installed to `~/.tmux/plugins/` so alternatively you can
2015-06-02 19:36:35 +00:00
find plugin directory there and remove it.
